D\u00f6rt b\u00f6l\u00fcmden ibaret olan ara\u015ft\u0131rmada giri\u015f k\u0131sm\u0131ndan sonra ilk olarak Mitoloji ve Edebiyat aras\u0131ndaki ili\u015fki ele al\u0131nm\u0131\u015f, mitoloji kavram\u0131 hakk\u0131nda bilgi verilmi\u015f, edebiyatla mitolojinin farkl\u0131 ve benzer \u00f6zellikleri irdelenmi\u015f, kavram\u0131n k\u00f6keni hakk\u0131nda bilgi verilmi\u015ftir. T\u00fcrk mitolojisini olu\u015fturan kavramlar, k\u00fcltler, unsurlar, inan\u00e7 ve tanr\u0131lar hakk\u0131nda genel ve k\u0131sa bilgilerden ibarettir. Bu b\u00f6l\u00fcmde ecdad\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n do\u011fa, bitki ve hayvanlar ile ili\u015fkisi ele al\u0131nm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn en sonunda T\u00fcrk mitolojisinde ad\u0131 ge\u00e7en ve hakk\u0131nda \u00e7ok daha az bilgimiz olan mitolojik kavramlar\u0131n neredeyse hepsinin s\u0131ralamas\u0131 yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. T\u00fcrk mitolojisi hakk\u0131ndaki bilgiler g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde bile kaotik bir g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcmdedir. Konu h\u00e2l\u00e2 sistemli ve eksiksiz bir \u015fekilde ele al\u0131namam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r, dolay\u0131s\u0131yla her y\u00f6nden geli\u015ftirilmeye a\u00e7\u0131kt\u0131r. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n kapsam\u0131 da olduk\u00e7a geni\u015ftir. Edeb\u00ee eserlerin \u00e7oklu\u011fu ve konuyla ilgili eserlerin yaz\u0131lmaya devam edildi\u011fi de hesaba kat\u0131l\u0131rsa, alan\u0131n her zaman yeni ara\u015ft\u0131rmalara a\u00e7\u0131k oldu\u011fu g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcr.
